We Honor the Brave During Veterans Week and Always

 
 

On November 4, 2018, TBI Warrior Foundation celebrated the first annual “Honor the Brave” event. The ceremony emceed by retired SgtMaj Hector Cerda, included the invocation by U.S. Army retired COL Quentin Collins, PhD, followed by the National Anthem performed by U.S. Army retired SGT Mario Lopez. We recognized the service of a group of selfless Veterans, our National Heroes. The Veterans included all eras, men and women Veterans. The honorees were:

Darilyn Perez, SPC, US Army Veteran

Israel Estrada, SSG, US Army Retired, Recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal

Justin Trone, CPT, US Army Retired, Recipient of the Soldiers Medal

Lee Hernandez, SGT, U.S. Army Retired

Mario Lopez, SGT, U.S. Army Retired, Purple Heart Recipient

Mark Juarez, SSgt, U.S. Marine Corps, Purple Heart Recipient

Each of these Veterans have a story of courage, bravery and sacrifice. We are grateful for their service to our Nation and for making America “Land of the Free Because of the Brave”.
